How Far Is Bahrain Airport From…
BAH is on Muharraq Island, next to Manama. Every Saudi address is on the far side of the 25 km King Fahd Causeway, so the drive is short but the two border posts set the real trip time. Road distances to the Passenger Terminal:

Bahrain International Airport: What to Know
- One passenger terminal. Scheduled flights use the Passenger Terminal that opened in January 2021. Private and VIP flights use the separate Awal Private Terminal; tell us if that is yours.
- Bahrain first, then the causeway. From Muharraq the car crosses Bahrain to the causeway, stops at the Bahraini and Saudi border posts on the island halfway across, then drives on to Khobar or Dammam. The driver pays the toll as part of your fare.
- Documents for both border posts. Every passenger shows their own passport, and Saudi residents a valid iqama that matches it. Check entry rules for your nationality before you fly.
- Plan departures around the border, not the map. The drive from Khobar is under an hour, but border time is not fixed. Tell us your flight time and we set the pickup with you.
