Crossing From Saudi Arabia Into Qatar
- One border, two posts. Qatar's only land border is with Saudi Arabia: Salwa on the Saudi side, Abu Samra on the Qatari side. Your driver collects you at your address, stops at both posts and drives on to your hotel, home or terminal in Qatar.
- Documents for Qatar entry. Every passenger shows their own passport, plus the visa or residence permit Qatar requires for their nationality. Check the rules before you travel.
- Hotels and the airport. Our Qatar trips ended at hotels in Doha and Lusail and at Hamad International Airport. Give us the hotel name or your flight and we plan the drop-off.
- Plan around the border, not the map. The drive is about 4 hours from Dammam, but border time is not fixed. For a flight out of Hamad, tell us the departure time and we set the pickup with you.
